The first SECURE Open Call for cascade funding has officially closed on 29 March 2026 e call, launched on 28 January 2026, invited micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (mSMEs) across Europe to apply for support in strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities.

In October of 2025, a first batch of training materials was developed by the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium to assist European mSMEs kickstart their CRA compliance.
